Gunners On International Duty

There are 9 Arsenal players out on International duty. Find out who is likely to start and follow their progress here.

Lukas Podolski, Per Mertesacker have both been called up to the German squad for their friendly against Holland. Reports say both should start tonight.

Santi Cazorla should start on the bench against Panama tonight. He is due back at London Colney at noon on Friday so hopefully he is fresh enough for the North London Derby which is the early kick off Saturday.

Johan Djourou should start at CB for Switzerland tonight against Tunisia. 90 minutes will be good for Djourou who has found minutes for Arsenal hard to come by.

Olivier Giroud, Laurent Koscielny have both been called up to the French squad for their friendly against Italy. Both will be pushing for starts and should get minutes.

Nicklas Bendtner has been called up to the Denmark squad for their friendly against Turkey. Arsenal’s forgotten man should start.

Jack Wilshere, Carl Jenkinson have been called up to the England squad to face Sweden with the latter being called up for the first time. Both will start on the bench. Theo Walcott was called up but had to pull out due to injury.

Here’s hoping for no injuries.
